Phyllis "Jean" Cruse, 86, of East Moline passed away Sept. 15 at her home.
Per her wishes there will be no services and she will be cremated. Schroder Mortuary in Silvis is assisting the family with arrangements.
Jean was born May 25, 1931 in Moline, IL the daughter of Frank and Violet Raisbeck McCorkle. She married Billie Cruse June 30, 1951 in Silvis, IL. Jean worked with her husband building homes in the East Moline and surrounding areas. She enjoyed fishing, reading and traveling.
Survivors include her husband Billie; children Frank (Becky) Cruse of East Moline and Kenn (Susan) Cruse of Chester, SC; grandchildren Chad (Melissa) Cruse of Hampton, Crystal (Scott) Farrow of Pewaukee, WI, Laura (Mark) Randa of WI, Ashley (Romeo) Pontereo of CA and Lauren Cruse of SC; great grandchildren Derek, Braden and Addison Cruse, Payton and Kyler Farrow and Ethan and Isabelle Randa.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents.
The family would like to thank Unity Point Hospice, Dr. Okba, Dr. Porubcin and their staff for the care and support given to Jean and her family.
