Patricia Diederich

Patricia Diederich, 82, of Bettendorf, formerly of Silvis, died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010, at Kahl Home in Davenport.
Services are 11 a.m. today at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis, with visitation one hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kahl Home. Burial is at St. Mary's Cemetery in East Moline.
She was born March 5, 1927, in London, England, daughter of John and Florence Kindlan Robinson. She married Harold Diederich on Nov. 4, 1950, in London, and came to the U.S. on the SS America. Harold passed away Feb. 12, 1995.
Patricia graduated from Black Hawk College with an associate degree in nursing. She worked as a registered nurse at the former Lutheran Hospital in Moline in the Intensive Care Unit. She enjoyed drinking her English black tea.
Survivors include her daughter, Christina (Kevin) Peterson, Bettendorf; son, Michael Diederich, Brooklyn, N.Y.; grandchildren, Ashley Lindstrom and Eric Peterson, both of Bettendorf; sister, Maureen Black, London; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 11 brothers and sisters.
