Life Legacy
Agnes Lewis, 94, of Silvis, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010, at Aspen Health and Rehab, Silvis.
Services will be private. Burial is at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Schroder Mortuary, Silvis, is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to Carbon Cliff Methodist Church.
She was born Aug. 3, 1915, to Clarence and Minnie Belowski Mitton. She married Robert Glenn Lewis June 14, 1941, in Silvis. He passed away July 1, 1985.
She worked for 10 years at Goldsmith's in Moline. She attended Carbon Cliff Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to dinner with her cousin Virginia Black.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen (Willie) Willhouse, Carbon Cliff; son, Terry (Jan) Lewis, Moline; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandhcildren; and sister, Annette Diederich, Carbon Cliff. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two sisters, Zereta and Leota.
