Matthew D. Steele, 28, of Colona, died Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010, at his home.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Schroder Mortuary, Colona. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary. Memorials may be made to the family.
He was born Aug. 8, 1981, in Moline, to Mark McGee and Sylvia Steele.
He loved the Cubs and the Bears and enjoyed playing horseshoes and fishing.
Survivors include his mother, Sylvia Steele, Colona; father, Mark McGee, Colfax, Iowa; children, Dalton and Shayla Steele, Milan; siblings, Kenneth Steele, Shannon Baker and Seth Baker, all of Colona; grandmother, Dellie Steele, Colona; aunts, Julie Benson, Colona, Lisa Reeves, Georgia, Angie Younggren, Moline; and seven cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth Steele. |
