Betty Mae Day, 79, of Silvis, died July 8, 2010, at her home.
Memorial services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is one hour prior to service time.
She was born Oct. 8, 1930 in Marion, Mo., the daughter of George and Edith Massa Portter. She married George "Mike" Day July 31, 1947. He passed away in 2000
She loved flowers and gardening and was an avid cross stitcher.
Survivors are daughters, Georgia Roberts, Barbara Williams, Rose Anderson; a son, James Day; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents, brothers and sisters.
