Alice L. Brown

Alice L. Brown, 78, of Silvis passed away July 18, 2023 at Unity Point, Rock Island.

Alice donated her body to science and a Celebration of Life will be1-4 PM Saturday July 22, 2023 at The Keg in East Moline. Schroder Mortuary is assisting the family with services.

Alice was born July 15, 1945 in Albia, Iowa the daughter of Theodore and Louise (Schuelka) Housholder. Alice worked for the Nuclear Power Plant in Cordova as a customer service clerk. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, gardening, auctions, and being outside. She especially loved spending time with family.

Alice is survived by her children Sherri (Ron) Bartholomew, Audry Brown, and Elizabeth (Jack Jr.) Horton; grandchildren Emily, Terry, Samantha, Brighton, Elycia, Dustin, Trentin, and Audryanna, and nine great grandchildren. Alice also had an extended family, not by blood but by choice, who called her mom or Nana. She was loved by everyone who met her, they became family.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert and sister Betty Hogue.
