Anita J. Delp, 81, of Silvis, died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.
Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis, with visitation two hours prior to service time and an Eastern Star service at 12:30. Burials is at Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Memorials may be made to the family.
She was born July 5, 1929, in Moline, to Walter and Dorothy Booth Bennett. She married Lowell Delp Feb. 18, 1950, in Silvis.
She was a secretary for East Moline School District 37, retiring in 1989. She also volunteered at Genesis Medical Center Illini Campus as a cashier in the gift shop.
She was a member of the Rainbow Girls and Later the Order of the Eastern Star Rose Chapter in Silvis for more than 60 years. She was also a member of the Zal Caldron No. 4 in Moline.
Survivors include her husband, Lowell, Silvis; children, Rodney (Julie) Delp, East Moline, Tracy (Pat) Delp, North Carolina, and Dave (Bonnie) Leemans, Port Byron; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Laverna (Don) Stromquist, Lynn Center; brother, Dale (Pat) Bennett, Wyoming, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents.
