Ann B. Bischoff

Ann B. Bischoff, 69, of Colona passed away Sunday, July 12, 2026 at Mercy One Genesis in Silvis.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Colona. Visitation will be 5-7pm Tuesday with the rosary starting at 4:30 at Schroder Mortuary in Colona. Burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery in Rock Island. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Menkes Foundation. 

Ann was born July 5, 1957 in Rock Island, IL the daughter of Bernard and Elisabeth Hunter Mart. She served in the Navy as a computer operator. Ann married Edward Bischoff, January 26, 1979. He passed away March 5, 2021. Ann worked at Illini Hospital as a cashier. She also owned her own business as a medical transcriptionist. Ann enjoyed crafts, sewing, crocheting, canning, and gardening.

Survivors include her daughters April Porter and Beth Taylor; grandchildren Kaiden Porter and Natalie Porter; sisters Rosey (Kirk) Anderson, Lisa (Bob) Adams, Rose Alcarez, Jean Holland, Cathy Sharum; brothers John (Becky) Maubach and Dan (Molly) Livingston and several nieces and nephews.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandsons Miles Taylor and John Taylor, and a granddaughter Mazee Taylor.
