Anthony Bell

Anthony "Tony" Bell, 53, of Moline passed away June 11, 2015 at his home. Visitation will be 1-4pm Sunday at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis with a celebration of life at 4pm. Burial will be at a later date at St. Mary's Cemetery in East Moline. Memorials may be made to Edgewood Baptist Church or the family. Tony was born May 17, 1962 in Moline, IL the son of Lawrence and Patricia Poelvoorde Bell. He served in the Navy. Tony married Jodie Jacobs April 6, 1988 in Davenport, IA. He worked for M&I Construction and Picture Perfect but also ran his own home improvement business Bell Home Improvement. Tony most recently worked for Straight Shot Express. Tony enjoyed fishing and golf. He was full of laughter and love and will be dearly missed. Survivors include his father Lawrence Bell; wife Jodie; son William Jacobs who helped care for Anthony during his illness, daughter Rachel Bell; step daughter Kayla Jacobs-Allison; grandchildren Destini, Sereniti, Zane, Tony "Big Guy", Kenny, Rian and Erik; brother Brad Haasch. Tony was preceded in death by his mother Patricia Nicewanner.
