Betty Jane Hart, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and special friend, passed away May 17, 2017 at Bettendorf Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be 12pm Monday at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis with visitation 2 hours prior to service time. Cremation rites will be accorded and burial will be 10am Friday at Rock Island National Cemetery. Anyone wishing to attend the burial should meet at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis at 9:15am. Memorials may be made to the Komen Quad Cities or American Alzheimer's Association.
Betty was born Aug. 14, 1929 in Diamond, IA the daughter of Joe and Winifred Price Fadiga. She married Basil Hart Aug. 22, 1967 in Oregon, IL. Betty worked at ALCOA and was a stay at home mom. She was a member of the East End Club and the Silvis FOE. She enjoyed bowling, playing euchre, helping others and spending time with family.
Survivors include her children Ty (Sean) Harvey of Davenport and Dennis (Jennifer) Hart of East Moline; "her other girls" Linda Davis, Brandy Lewis and Sue Bender; grandson Nicholas Hart; step grandchildren Hailey Jackson, Madelyn Jackson, Chloe Jackson, Samantha Harvey, Sean Harvey II, Seth (Alana) Harvey; sisters Frances (Doyle) Bailey, Gretchen Fadiga and Barbara Carpenter; brother Charles (Roberta) Fadiga; many nieces and nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings Morris (Geraldine) Fadiga, Joe (Irene) Fadiga, John Fadiga, Carl Carpenter, Joann (Everett) Davis. May they rest in peace.
The family would like to thank BHC and Beacon of Hope Hospice.
