Blanche Cotton

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Blanche Cotton on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Harmony of Davenport.

Graveside services will be 1:00pm Friday, January 2, 2026 at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. Memorials may be made to

Blanche was born March 22, 1928 in Maquon, IL the daughter of Charles and Zelda McCormick. She worked at the Thrifty Nickel in East Moline and Victory Baptist Church in East Moline. Blanche enjoyed plants, flowers, and gardening. She also enjoyed sewing and feeding the birds.

Survivors include her children Kathryn (Larry) Ferguson, Barbara Swift, Susan Ferguson, Tom Cotton, and Sandra (John) Craig; 11 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

Blanche was preceded in death by her son David, brothers Gene, Jack, Charles, Jim, Don, and Dean, and a sister June.
