Bonnie and Richard Thomas

In honor and memory of Bonnie and Richard Thomas, a joint visitation will be held on Friday, May 23rd.

The visitation will be held at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis, IL from 4:30 - 7:00.

Bonnie passed away on February 12, 2024 and Richard passed on January 25, 2025.

Richard and Bonnie are survived by their four children: Daniel (Carol) Thomas, Christine (Duane) Kiddoo, Rebecca (Bruce) Vyncke, and Tamara (Brian) Nelson. They are also survived by their eight grandchildren: Jennifer (Gabe) Alderette, Matthew (Lisa) Maxwell, Dale Thomas, Andrea (Brian) Fisher, Linda (Michael) Hillbloom, Eric (Ana) Vyncke, Amie (Mooch) King, Lisa (Cory) Wildermuth, 17 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. Richard and Bonnie are also survived by several nieces and nephews; they shared a particularly close relationship with their nephew, Earl R. Kyle III.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Inspire Continuing Care located in Geneseo, IL or to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

Our families were truly blessed to have had them in our lives for so many years. They showed our family what true love and devotion looked like, and that family was truly the most important thing in life. They are together again.
