Brenda S. Owen

Brenda S. Owen, 68, of Colona passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025 at her home with her husband of 51 years by her side.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Wednesday at Schroder Mortuary in Colona. Visitation will be 4-7pm Tuesday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to QC Paws. 

Brenda was born April 24, 1957 in Rock Island, IL the daughter of Bobby J. and Norma L. Murray. She married Robert M. Owen April 27, 1974 in Colona. Brenda retired from X Pac after 17 years. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Brenda is survived by her husband Robert; daughters Janal (Chris) Oliva and Natalie (Anthony) Oliva; adopted daughter Yvonne (Pat) Hooker; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother Bill (Michelle) Murray; her lifelong friend Kathy Stout and several nieces and nephews  

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents.
