Brittany Wilson

Brittany Michelle Wilson, 28, of Donahue, IA passed away Saturday, August 17, 2019 in Bettendorf.

A memorial visitation will be 4-7pm Friday at Schroder Mortuary in Colona. Private burial will be at a later date in the Coal Valley Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her godmother and forever angel Regina Meyers Grizzle. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Brittany was born July 6, 1991 in Geneseo, IL. Prior to working at the Big 10 Mart in Bettendorf Brittany worked at the Blue Square in Jumer’s. She loved children and animals.

Survivors include her mother Alicia (Steve) Thompson; father Aubrey (Melanie) Wilson of Geneseo; brother Nicholas Wilson and sister Kelsey Thompson; paternal grandparents Aubrey (Joyce) Wilson; maternal grandfather Jimmy Collins of Tennessee; her boyfriend Brandon Bowman; best friend and cousin Heather Davis, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Brittany was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Betty Collins.
