Christine L. Morgan-Rhodes, 56, of Silvis, died on April 19, 2013, at her home. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis. Visitation will be 4-7pm Monday at the Mortuary in Silvis. Memorials may be made to the family.
She was born on Dec. 25, 1956, in Moline, to John D. and Betty Stotmeister Morgan. She married Matthew Martel on Dec. 31, 1974. She later married Tom Rhodes on June 9, 1990. She enjoyed crafts and playing the organ.
Survivors include her parents, John D. and Betty Morgan; spouse, Tom Rhodes; daughters, Sherri Martel, Sara (Ashley) Martel, Amy (Steve) Martel-Lopez and Christy Rhodes; grandchildren, Claudia Martel, Noah Broderson, Julien Broderson and Mya Lopez; siblings, Sharon Moss, Susan (Lyle) Gehn, Tim (Ginni) Morgan, Steve (Jules) Morgan, Janice Patton, Mark (Kim) Morgan, Doug (Jane) Morgan, Dan (Barb) Morgan. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Zoe Lopez.
