Dale Cooper

Dale Cooper, 77, of Colona, died May 7, 2013, at his home. Services are 1 p.m. Friday at Schroder Mortuary, Colona. Burial is at Dayton Corners Cemetery, Colona. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. today at the mortuary. Memorials may be made to Silvis Heights Baptist Church. He was born Dec. 8, 1935, in Chillicothe, Mo. He married Roma Golden on Aug. 23, 1955, in Chillicothe. He worked for RI Lines and later drove for local trucking companies. He enjoyed golfing and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Roma; children, Sheryl (Steve) Schmooke, Silvis, David (Eileen) Cooper, Nashville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Jamie (Tim), Jena, Jason, Eric and Melissa; and siblings, Buster, Darlene, Patty and Wilma. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Stephen; and sisters, Zelpha and Marie.
