Daniel R. Crew

Daniel R. Crew, 33, of Colona passed away Monday, July 6, 2026 at his home.

Visitation will be 1-2:30pm Saturday July 11, 2026 at Schroder Mortuary in Colona with a service of remembrance to follow. Burial will be in Dayton Corners Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family for his daughter Ani.

Daniel was born September 2, 1992 in Silvis, IL the son of Lester and Angie Nagelmiller Crew. He grew up in Colona and graduated from UTHS in 2011. Daniel married Isis Navarrete September 22, 2018 in Colona. He worked with his family at Crew Roofing for several years.

Daniel enjoyed music, video gaming, biking along the canal, and attending concerts and music festivals. He ran track when he was younger, was a history buff, and loved his watches.

Survivors include his grandfather Lester Crew; parents Les Jr. and Angie Crew; wife Isis; daughter Antoinette; stepson Nizer Berryman; brother Steve (Shelly) Crew; sister Taylor (Derek) Wilke; niece Bella Crew; uncle Rick (Julie) Crew; aunt Chris (Melvin) Larson; cousins Ashley (Ryan) Erichsen, Tammy (Mike) Hueser, and Josh Crew; brothers in law Christian Navarrete and Marlon Navarrete; sister in law Itzel Navarrete and his mother in law.

Daniel was preceded in death by his grandmother Antoinette Crew and his aunt Connie Crew.
