Delores "Orrie" Timmerman, 85, of Colona passed peacefully away December 25, 2015.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10am Wednesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Colona. Visitation will be 5-7pm Tuesday at Schroder Mortuary in Colona with a Rosary at 4:30pm. The family requests casual dress. Entombment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in East Moline. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's or Wounded Warrior Project.
Delores was born Dec. 1, 1930 in Moline, IL the daughter of Clarence "Pete" and Margaret Rombout Beardsley. She married Frank Timmerman Feb. 27, 1954 in Colona. He passed away Jan. 9, 2003. Delores often told stories of running the elevators for the New York Company. She also worked in the stock department at John Deere and was the Vice President of Timmerman Products Inc. Delores was a member of St. Anne's Circle. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed her card ladies and spending time with her friends and especially her family.
Survivors include her children Shari (Gabe) Anderson of Geneseo; Michael Timmerman of Colona; Pam (Todd) Reynolds of Bettendorf and John (Jackie) Timmerman of Geneseo; grandchildren Thomas Timmerman, Cathryn Albright and Jonathan Timmerman; several nieces and nephews.
Delores was preceded in death by her husband, brother Lt. Col. Clarence "Joe" Beardsley and a grandson Christopher Albright.
