Delores L. Willis

Delores L. Willis, 90, of Colona passed away Saturday, August 8, 2026 at her home.

Per her wishes she will be cremated and there will be no services. Schroder Mortuary in Colona is assisting the family with arrangements.

Delores was born October 23, 1935 in Centerville, IA the daughter of Robert and Erma (Coop) Kirby. She married Jason Willis in 1952. He passed away August 19, 2010. Delores worked in accounting at Hartford Insurance Company in Davenport and later retired from James Insurance Company in Pheonix, AZ. She enjoyed waterskiing in her younger years and enjoyed crafting. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children Ron (Michaelle) Willis of Moline; Bob Willis, and Mike Willis of Colona; 4 grandchildren including Melissa (Robert) Lucas; 7 great grandchildren including Bryson Straw, Noah Lucas, and Arbella Lucas; brother Bob (Joanne) Kirby of Columbus, IN; nephew Matthew Kirby; nieces Michelle Richardson and Dawn Gile and 3 great nieces and nephews.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
