Dennis McDonald

Dennis J. McDonald, 68, of Davenport passed away Sunday - May 31, 2015 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 5pm Thursday at St. Katherine's Chapel in Davenport. Schroder Mortuary in Silvis is assisting the family with arrangements. Dennis was born Nov. 12, 1946 in Aurora, IL the son of Robert Carter and Shirley Washington. He served in the Army during Viet Nam. Dennis married Rebecca Case Oct. 3, 1984 in Rock Island. He worked as a Milan Police Officer and at John Deere. He most recently worked maintenance at St. Katherine's in Davenport. Dennis was a member of the Masons. Survivors include his wife Rebecca; children Denise Jetter, Leah Pappas, Richard, James, Timothy and Thomas McDonald and several grandchildren. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and his godparents Mr. and Mrs. McDonald.
