Donna Grubb

Donna C. Grubb, 78, of Colona, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Aspen Rehab in Silvis. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Schroder Mortuary in Colona with visitation from 11 a.m. to service time. Burial will be at Dayton Corners Cemetery in Colona. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's. Donna was born Aug. 8, 1935, in Woodhull, the daughter of Thomas and Violet Carlson Rasko. She married Vincent Grubb Jr. on March 21, 1975, in Port Byron. He passed away Aug. 25, 1993. Donna enjoyed reading and embroidering. Survivors include her sisters, Nancy (Frank) Overton of Silvis, and Mary Ann (Glen) Miller of East Moline; half-brother, James Stonehouse of Rapids City; granddaughter, Stephanie Stelk of Monclova, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a son, Thomas B. Stelk.
