Donna Jacobs

Donna R. Jacobs, 73, of East Moline passed away Sun. Feb. 15, 2015 at Hope Creek Care Center in East Moline. Visitation will be held 4-6pm Thursday at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis with Services to follow at 6pm. Memorials may be made to the family. Donna was born June 27, 1941 in Green Rock, IL the daughter of Jack and Helen Kaskadden Hesser. She married William Jacobs Nov. 30, 1962 in Rock Island County. Donna worked at Arlan's Department store, Hignight's Florist and Bonnett's wholesale. She enjoyed camping, fishing, playing euchre and bingo. Survivors include her husband William; daughters Jodie (Tony) Bell, Kim Jacobs and Luann Rhodes-Griffin; adopted daughter Edith Cobb; grandchildren William, Christopher, Kayla, Rachel, Eddy and Paula; 13 great grandchildren and 1 on the way; sisters Sandra Luna and Suzanne Bolton. Donna was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Jacqueline Norin.
