Donna Tauzin

Donna Rae Tauzin passed away on February 5, 2022. Waiting for a heavenly reunion were her parents Alfred “Fritz” and Ruth McCartney Claeys; son Steven J. Wethington; first husband Frank C. Wethington; second husband Paul Tauzin Jr.; and her grandmothers Emma Roman Loete and Violet Maxwell McCartney.

Donna Rae is anxious to get her heavenly library card to continue her search for knowledge. She looks forward to hearing the life stories of other residents; a first-hand account of history. She is excited to sing with the choir of angels. No audition will be necessary, for God welcomes all.

Daughter Tracy (Dan) Reinke and son Michael Wethington survive to continue to love her grandchildren: Whitney Reinke, Max Wethington and Frances Rae Wethington.

Her earthly resting place will be Greenview Memorial Gardens, Silvis, Illinois. At her request there will be no visitation or services, only a graveside reading of her favorite poem “Go Down Death” by James Weldon Johnson.
