Doris M Kincaid

Doris M. Kincaid, 81, of East Moline passed away July 11, 2023 at Genesis Medical Center Illini Campus.

Graveside services will be 11am Saturday at Glenwood Cemetery in Coal Valley. Memorials may be made to Parkinson’s Foundation.

Doris was born January 8, 1942 in Corydon, Iowa the daughter of John and Nellie (Snyder) Garten. She married Roger C. Kincaid June 18, 1960 in Unionville, MO. He passed away August 22, 2007. Doris worked for Wainwright Apple Orchard sorting apples and also drove a school bus. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, embroidery, gardening, ceramics, and canning. She was a great cook and made the best apple pies, potato salad, and fried potatoes.

Survivors include her son Michael Kincaid; grandchildren Ashley Clark, Cody Kincaid, Michael Kincaid, Gaige Kincaid, and Barrett Kincaid; great grandchildren Joshua, Brianna, Lauren, Kason, Ghlee, Jacob, and Jennifer.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 8 siblings.
