Earla Ulner

Earla "Shorty" Ulner, 87, of Milan, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at Avonlea Cottage in Milan. Per her wishes, services will be private. Earla was born Dec. 21, 1927, the daughter of Archibald and Evelyn Marsden. She married Raymond Ulner on Sept. 1, 1951, in Kahoka, Mo. He passed away Feb. 24, 1993. Earla enjoyed gardening, birds, crosswords and spending time with her family. She was a member of East End Club and Friends Circle Club in Moline. Survivors include her children, Rae Lynn Slater, Brenda (Mickey) Lampo and Brett (Jackie) Ulner; grandchildren, Justin Slater, Kristin (Bryan Berg) Carlson, Sarah (Levi Lange) Carlson, Matthew and Jenae Ulner; and a great-grandson, Miles Lange. Earla was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
