Everett Bray Jr

Everett W. Bray Jr., 84, of East Moline, died on Sunday, April 7, 2013, at his home. Per his wishes, there will be no services, and he will be cremated. He was born on May 11, 1928, in Fall River, Mass., to Everett Sr. and Bridgett Sullivan Bray. He married Juanita Heimburger on Jan. 15, 1977, in Long Beach, Calif. She passed away on Jan. 2, 2006. He served 30 years in the Coast Guard and the Navy during Vietnam. He was a member of the Federation of Eagles and the VFW and was proud to hold an Unlimited Steam Engineer License. Everett enjoyed taking care of his cats and feeding the birds. Survivors include his daughters, Stephanie Bray-Voorhes, Fairfax, Va., and Karen Perez, Corpus Christi, Texas; son, Jeff Bray, Corpus Christie; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Arlene Silva, Fall River. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
