Frank Crowe

Frank L. Crowe, 87, Rock Island, passed away Monday, October 14, 2013, in Rock Island. Services for Mr. Crowe will be Friday, October 18, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. with visitation noon to service time at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Burial will be at the Rock Island Arsenal. Frank was born December 22, 1925 in Fairfield, IA., the son of Morris and Effie Brown Crowe. He graduated from United Township in 1945. Frank retired from John Deere. Frank was a Veteran of the Army having served in the Korean War, having received the Korean Service Medal and two Bronze Stars. His hobbies included skiing, bicycling, and scuba diving where he held his Masters Certificate. Survivors include Sisters, Lillian Tinsley and Gladys Bodo both of Marina Del Rey, CA., Ruth Martin, East Moline, Belva Van Norman, Moline; Brother's, Guss (Patricia) Crowe, Pasadena, CA. and Ralph (Pat) Crowe, Rock Island and many nieces and nephews . He was preceded in death by his Parents, and a Sister, Margaret Scott.
