Gay Freeman

Gay L. Freeman, 55, of Davenport passed away May 27, 2015 at Trinity Bettendorf. Funeral services will be 7pm Monday at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis with visitation from 4pm until service time. Memorials may be made to the family. Gay was born July 2, 1959 the daughter of Wyman "Jack" Woods and Rosetta Ballheimer. She married Dale Freeman July 6, 2001 in Cambridge, IL. Gay worked for Lee Enterprises delivering the Thrifty Nickle. She enjoyed camping and loved horses. Survivors include her husband Dale; her mother Rosetta Ballheimer; step son Michael (Janet) Freeman of Clinton, IA; step daughter Melissa (Ryan) Hart of East Moline; 13 grandchildren; sisters Deanna Woods of Camanche, IA and Lynn Elder of East Moline a brother Wyman Woods of North Carolina and several nieces and nephews. Gay was preceded in death by her father.
