Georgia Mickle

Georgia Mickle, 74, of East Moline passed away Sat. - Jan. 3, 2015 at Trinity Rock Island. Funeral services will be 12noon Tuesday at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service time. Burial will be at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center in Milan. Georgia was born Oct. 4, 1940 in Savannah, IL the daughter of George and Nellie Ritenour Perry. She married Benjamin "Benny" Mickle April 9, 1979 in Rock Island. He passed away Jan. 30, 2000. Georgia worked at Montgomery Ward and retired from Franciscan Hospital after 15 years. She was a member of the Allendale Campground near Kewanee and enjoyed crocheting and making dolls. Survivors include her brother Starr Perry of East Moline and sisters Ann Duncan of Kewanee and Lovice Kallenbach of Moline. Georgia was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
