Gerald Feldhusen

Gerald H. "Jerry" Feldhusen, 73, of Colona passed away on June 28, 2015, at his home in Colona. There will be no services and Jerry will be cremated. Schroder Mortuary in Colona is assisting the family with arrangements. Jerry was born on Dec. 25, 1941, in Beach, N.D., the son of Harold and Garnet Hathaway Feldhusen. He married Donna Thomas in 1999 in Eau Claire, Wis. Jerry served in the Army during Vietnam and was a lifelong member of VFW Post 305 in Eau Claire, and Post 5083 in Geneseo. He worked in real estate for Caldwell Banker in Eau Claire, and was also a member of Shriners Zor Temple in Madison, Wis., and the Masonic Lodge, Eau Claire. Survivors include his wife Donna; children, Ellen Feldhusen-Leonard and Mary Feldhusen; stepchildren, Joline (Dan) Wellendorf, Nebraska and Monte Condrack, Wis.; sister Jo Ann Goodric, St. Cloud, Minn.; lifelong friends Dick Kukowski, Neb., and David Cramer, Wis.; and special friends Joann and her late husband Raymond Terry, Colona. He is also survived by his two cats Mr. and Missy. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Kenneth. Jerry's family would like to thank the Beacon of Hope Hospice for the care and support given to them and especially to Tina Smith. Her wonderful daily care made Jerry live a little longer.
