Gina J. Lay, 48, of Silvis passed away Dec. 6, 2016 at Genesis Medical Center Illini Campus in Silvis.
A memorial service will be 7pm Friday at Faith Walk World Outreach Center in Silvis with a memorial visitation starting at 6pm. Memorials may be made to the family. Schroder Mortuary in Silvis is assisting the family with arrangements.
Gina was born Dec. 27, 1967 in Moline, IL the daughter of Kenneth and Betty Hobbs Tipton. She married John Lay April 8, 1995 in Green Rock, IL. Gina enjoyed gardening, drawing and coloring. She also loved animals.
Survivors include her husband John; mother Betty Tipton and several nieces, nephews and other family members.
Gina was preceded in death by her father and her sister Tammy Carlson.
