Gladys M. Immesoete, 94, of Silvis passed away July 30, 2016 at Heartland Healthcare Center in Moline.
Funeral services will be 11am Tuesday at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline.
Gladys was born March 18, 1922 in Des Moines, IA the daughter of Vern and Ethel Johnson Anderson. She married Albert Immesoete April 11, 1942 in Hannibal, MO. He passed away Aug. 5, 1988. Gladys worked at the East Moline American Legion Post 227 for 40 years in the kitchen as a cook. She was a member of the Legion Auxiliary and enjoyed gardening and cooking.
Survivors include her son Ronald (Linda) Immesoete of Bettendorf; granddaughters Shelly (Joe) Lowery and Cari Thompson both of Bettendorf; great grandchildren Patilyn Lowery, J. Lowery, Alyson Thompson and Garrett Thompson.
Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, husband Albert and a sister Vera Landuyt.
