Gloria Gomez

Gloria J. Gomez, 79, of Moline entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Friday, May 15, 2026 surrounded by her family at her home.

Gloria was a devoted follower of Christ, leaving behind a legacy of prayer and unconditional love. She enjoyed reading her bible, her flowers, and spending time with her family.

Left behind to cherish her memories are her children Mario Gomez, Joseph Gomez, Damean Gomez, Regina Gomez, and Blanca (Adalberto) Mejia; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings Rick Edwards, Mona Delgado, and Flora Valdez.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Robert Gomez, parents Teofilo and Julia Valdez, siblings Marion Guzman, Rita Edwards, and her beloved brother Teofilo “Teo” Valdez.

Funeral services will be 11:00AM Tuesday at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis with visitation 1 hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.
