Guy R. Cady

Guy R. Cady, 60, of Colona passed away March 22, 2023 in Silvis.

A memorial visitation will be 1-3 Saturday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s.

Guy was born July 6, 1962 in Moline, IL the son of David and Linda Cady. He attended UTHS and worked for Lewis Machine and Tool for the last 18 years. Guy was the worlds biggest Cubs fan. He enjoyed all sports, reading, playing the lottery, and video poker. He loved spending time with his family and was a loyal son, wonderful father, and terrific grandfather.

Survivors include his mother Linda Cady; children Adam (Audriana) Cady, Annber (Tony) Collins, and Amanda (Thomas) Hackl; grandchildren Victoria, Jasper, Jeva, Jaxson, Laila, Savanah, Jordon, Alivia, Emmit, Ana, Piper, and Jace; brother David (Lisa) Cady; aunts Sue Stevenson and Delphia Skinner and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Guy was preceded in death by his father David Cady, maternal and paternal grandparents, and his beloved Connie Mier.
