Helen M. Rose

Helen M. Rose, 87, of East Moline passed away January 26, 2026 at Genesis Medical Center East Campus in Davenport.

Visitation will be at 1:00pm Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis followed by a graveside service at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline.

Helen was born December 8, 1938 in Marshalltown, IA the daughter of Raymond and Lillian Richardson. She married Raymond C. Rose October 27, 1962 in Marshalltown, IA. He passed away March 18, 2024. Helen was a homemaker and foster parent. She also worked for American Greeting Cards. She enjoyed bowling, camping and going to garage sales. She also had a couple booths at Country Fair in Coal Valley.

Survivors include her children Cynthia (Paul) Hanson, Lisa (Doug) Rogers, David Rose, Jeffrey Rose, and Kayla Rose; grandchildren Derek Oldfather, David Hanson, Jacob (Brooke) Bushnell, Joshua Bushnell, Adam (Brittany) Bushnell, Grace (Josh) Rentfro, Taylor Fuller, James Rose, Sienna Whitman, and Savannah Rose, and 19 great grandchildren.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a sister Shirley Lawthers.
