Jack Alan Malmstrom, 59, of Port Byron, died Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011, at St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, Ill.
Visitation is 3-6 p.m. Monday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Private interment will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Vietnam Vets of America or Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan.
He was born Dec. 30, 1951, in Moline, to Ossian and June Knott Malmstrom. He married Denise Nicholson April 1, 1998, in Moline.
Survivors include his wife, Denise; son, Brent Malmstrom, Geneseo; granddaughter, Megan; sister, Janet Anderson, Moline; and brother, Dan Malmstrom, Silvis. He was preceded in death by his parents.
