Jackie J. Vogler

Jackie J. Vogler, 78, of Silvis, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at his home.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis with visitation from 11:00am to service time. Private burial will be held at a later date in Hampton Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 301.

Jackie was born November 4, 1947, in Moline, IL. The son of Jesse and Marjorie Inloes Vogler.

Jackie was a US Federal Marshall and a city of Silvis Police Officer. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports, gambling, and taking money from his friends. Jackie loved spending time with his friends and family.

Jackie is survived by his children Jason (Lihua) Vogler and Korey Vogler; grandchildren Lauren (Michael) DeVries, Justin Vogler, Jillian Vogler and Hayden Vogler; brother Gaylord (Roberta) Vogler and sister Marlene Baker; several nieces and nephews.

Jackie was preceded in death by his parents and brother Gale.
