James Mann

James William Mann, 74, of Geneseo, died Sunday, March 1, 2015, at UnityPoint Health-Trinity Rock Island. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 5, at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, at the mortuary. Burial is at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. He was born Dec. 4, 1940, in Maquoketa, Iowa, to Wilmer Mann and Wilma Harder Mann. He married Betty Anders on Oct. 25, 1986. He retired from International Harvester. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Betty Mann; daughters, Jodi (Brian) Foor, Odenton, Md., LeeAnn (Glenn) Klopp, Huntley, Ill.; sons, Edward Mann, Colorado Springs, Colo., Thomas Mann, Vancouver, Wash., Kit (Karen) Mann, Connersville, Ind., Rick (Patricia) Anderson, Colona; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sisters, Nancy (Wayne) Neiland, LeClaire, Lila (Virgil) Masse, Clinton, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents.
