Jane V. McCormick, 74, of Bettendorf, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice, Bettendorf.
Per her wishes, Jane will be cremated and private family services will be held at a later date. Schroder Mortuary in Silvis is assisting the family with arrangements.
Jane was born Aug. 9, 1942, in Hague, N.D., the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth Nold Weninger. She married John W. McCormick Nov. 18, 1960. He passed away March 11, 2006. Jane enjoyed crosswords and her daily walks. She loved spending time with family and loved to laugh.
Survivors include her brothers, James Weninger, Stephen Wenninger, Richard Wenninger, Dennis Wenninger, Floyd Weninger, Randy Wenninger and Rodney Weninger; sisters, Julie Bergstrand, Tina Alexander, Betty Disterhoft and Rose Mercer.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
