Janice Berry

Janice Berry, 77, of Silvis passed away September 23, 2019 at her home with her family by her side.

Per her wishes cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services.

Janice was born October 8, 1941 in Moline, IL the daughter of Albert and Grace Strahan. She was adopted at age 8 by Pearl Strosahl. Janice worked as an RN in the Neurology department of Genesis West, formerly known as Mercy Hospital, retiring after 28 years. She enjoyed making cards and tending to her flowers at her apartment building.

Survivors include her children David (Melissa) Fare of Virginia, Keith (Julie) Fare of Wyoming, Lori (Robert) Saemisch of Rock Island, and John Fare of Wisconsin; 10 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and siblings Coretta “Corky” (David) Waldron and Roger (Okie) Strahan.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, 2 grandchildren, and siblings Doris Brennon, Nancy Coleman, Robert Strahan, Lee Strahan, and William Strahan.
