Jill A. Whitmore

Jill Annette Whitmore, 57, of East Moline passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at MercyOne Genesis in Silvis.

Visitation will be 1-3pm Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis. Jill will be cremated, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Make-a-Wish.

Jill was born April 22, 1968, in Iowa City, IA, the daughter of John and Sharon Denney Schoof. She married Frank Whitmore June 10, 1990, in Burlington, IA. She worked at Genesis Hospital Systems for 35 years in Patient Finance and as a staff accountant. She enjoyed riverboat excursions on the Celebration Belle with her mother Sharon and daughter-in-law Alexus, playing Pokémon GO with son David, Amateur Radio, Parks on the Air, and was a member of the River Bend Wireless Operators Club in Milan, IL.

Survivors include her mother, Sharon Eisenmayer of Burlington, IA; husband Frank, sons Alexander (Alexus) Whitmore of Bettendorf, IA and David Whitmore, and a brother John (Chelli) Schoof Jr (Burlington, IA).

Jill was preceded in death by her father.
