Jimmy Ogle

Jimmy D. Ogle, 71, of East Moline, passed away Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010, at Genesis East Campus, Davenport.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.
Jimmy was born March 13, 1939, in Powersville, Mo., the son of Gulley and Grace Michaels Ogle. He married Peggy Gooch July 9, 1960, in East Moline.
Jimmy worked at John Deere for 19 years and later worked in the car business for 15 years. After retirement, he worked at Professional Golf of the Quad Cities in Rock Island. He was a lifetime member of Oakwood Country Club and a part owner of Hawthorn Ridge Golf Course in Aledo. He also enjoyed doing yard work.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy, East Moline; children, Dave (Cindy) Ogle, Hampton, and Susan (Chuck) Fiser, Aledo; grandchildren, Tyler, Alec and Andrew; siblings, Fred Ogle, Wisconsin, Gene (Helen) Ogle, Texas, JoAnne (Pete) Frenell, Barstow, and Bob (Betty) Ogle, Texas. Jimmy was preceded by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
