John A. Demeurisse

John A. Demeurisse, 80, of East Moline passed away July 29, 2022 at Aledo Health and Rehab.

Per his wishes he will be cremated, and a celebration of life will be 1:00 – 5:00pm Saturday, August 13^th at Carbon Cliff Eagles Club. Schroder Mortuary, Silvis is assisting the family with arrangements.

John was born March 7, 1942 in Moline, IL the son of Alfred and Alyne Demeurisse. He married Catherine Munkirs July 8, 1991 in Moline. John was self employed as a flooring installer for several years. He enjoyed golfing and fishing with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife Cathy; children Amy (Bill) Bethel, Brad Demeurisse, and Cher (Troy) Hicks; grandchildren Janna, Carson, Kayla, and Hannah and great grandchildren Morgan and twin boys on the way.

John was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Jacob, granddaughter Lillian, and a brother Paul.
