John A. Haley

John Anthony "Tony" Haley, 60, of Davenport, Iowa died Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at the VA Hospital in Iowa City surrounded by his loving family.
 
A graveside service will be 11am Friday at Rock Island National Cemetery. Anyone wishing to attend should meet at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis at 10:15am Friday to join the procession. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors Project.
 
Tony was born in 1962 in Geneva IL to Raymond and Mary Haley. He married Jennifer Haley (Brauer) in Wheatland, IA on November 27th 1982. Together they had one son, Justin Haley.
 
Tony was a Navy Veteran.  After serving in the Navy he returned home to continue his career in manufacturing. Tony had a special passion for cooking which we all enjoyed. Tony was a proud Hawkeye and Bear fan. He also loved fishing, camping, and bon-fires with his family and friends. Tony had a huge heart for all and was the life of all the parties. He never met a stranger and had a gift to gab. He will be missed by all who knew him. 
 
Survivors include his son Justin (Jamie) Haley; siblings, Steve (Sherri) Haley, Vonnie (Craig) Jorgensen, Mike (Laurie) Haley, Sam (Brenda) Haley, Dave (Angie) Haley, Bud (Kim) Haley, Scott Haley, Julie (Mike) Farley and 31 nieces and nephews.
 
Tony was preceded in death by his mom, dad, brother Danny and sister Debbie.
