Joseph Gustaf

Joseph T. Gustaf, 61, of Silvis, passed away Sept. 22, 2018, at his home.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.

Joe was born Dec. 12, 1956, in Moline, the son of Joseph P. and Lucille Keegan Gustaf. He married Donna Sue Gress in Cambridge, Ill., in June of 1980. Joe worked at his family business, I 80 Truck Service, for several years. He later worked for LMI in Coal Valley, retiring in 2013. He enjoyed racing and fishing and was a member of the Silvis Eagles Club.

Survivors include his sons, Joseph T. (Sarai) Gustaf II, Brenton (Katie) Gustaf and Joshua Gustaf; grandchildren, Abigail, Samantha, Joey III, Landon, Wyatt and Aubree; siblings, Dave Gustaf, Ronnie Gustaf, Linda Dugan, Steve Gustaf, JoAnn Vervaecke and Cindy Johnson.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Danny.
