Joseph L. Subdon, 72, of Colona, died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011, at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis.
Private services for family and close friends will be held 4-6 Monday at Schroder Mortuary in Colona.
He was born Feb. 21, 1939, in Moline, son of Britton and Nancy Osborn Subdon. He married Brenda Willaert July 26, 1958, in Colona.
He was a home decorator for 12 years and later worked at HC Duke in East Moline for 26 years. He was a member and master mason of the Clement Lodge in Colona.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda; daughters, Lorena (Edmundo) Soliz, Urbandale, Iowa, and Theresa Webster, Honolulu, Hawaii; grandsons, David Soliz, Urbandale, Thomas Soliz, Urbandale, Nicholas (Erin) Subdon, Rockford, Ill., Nathan Webster, Camp Pendleton, Calif., and Todd Webster, Osan Airbase, South Korea; several nieces and nephews; and special niece, Jill (Brad) Bowers. He was preceded by his parents and biological father Harley Wright.
