Kenneth W. Dwyer Jr., 64, of Colona passed away August 6, 2017 at his home.
Visitation will be 3-6pm Thursday at Schroder Mortuary in Colona with funeral services to follow at 6pm. Graveside services will be 11am Friday at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. Anyone wishing to attend may meet at the Mortuary at 10:15. Memorials may be made to the family.
Kenneth was born Jan. 4, 1953 in Moline, IL the son of Kenneth and Shirley Skiles Dwyer. He married Collette VanWatermuelen July 20, 1974 in Green Rock, IL. Kenneth enjoyed singing karaoke, playing cards, gambling and camping and fishing.
Survivors include his wife Collette; children Veronica (Eric) Whan of Viola, Kenneth Lee Dwyer of East Moline, Tonya (Shayne Hemphill) Dwyer of East Moline and Shawna (William Kosgard) of East Moline; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and a brother Alan Dwyer of Michigan.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and a son Ronnie Alan Dwyer.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Katrina Dreifurst for the special care given to Kenneth and also to Dr. Wang and the staff of Unity Point Hospice.
