Kenneth Ohrberg

Kenneth R. Ohrberg, 70, of Colona, passed away Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, at UnityPoint Health in Peoria. Services will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at Schroder Mortuary in Colona with visitation from 4 p.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Kenny was born March 5, 1943, in Moline, the son of Clarence and Lou Louck Ohrberg. He served in the Army, stationed in Germany. He married Sue Collis on Oct. 24, 1980, in Rock Island. Kenny retired from McKay's Plating in Hampton in 2004. He enjoyed fishing, camping and playing cards. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Sue; children, Tami (Mike) Wilson, Colona, Melissa (Scott) Pawski, Clinton, Iowa, and Deanna (Evan Young) Ohrberg, Rock Island; grandchildren, Jordan, Alexis, Hayley, Dalton, Austin, Sidney and Brooke; sisters-in-law, Judy Cook, Florida, and Kay (Bob Brown) Jacobs, Erie; brothers-in-law, Kenny (Deb) Collis, Erie, and Michael (Janice) Collis, East Moline; and several nieces and nephews. Kenny was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Susan K. Ohrberg; sister, Judy Rule; mother-in-law and father-in-law Kenneth Sr. and Delores Collis; brother-in-law, Danny Jacobs; and a great-great-niece, Addilynn Jacobs.
