Kurt Alan LeCleir, 60, of Hillsdale, lost his battle with cancer on October 25, 2025, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.
Per his wishes, Kurt will be cremated, and graveside services will be 1 p.m., Sunday, at Bethesda Cemetery in Hillsdale, IL. Quad Cities Cremation Center at Schroder Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
Kurt was born March 27, 1965, in Geneseo, IL, the son of Jim and Shirley LeCleir. He was a very fun-loving friend and the life of the party. He will be missed by many loving friends. He graduated from Riverdale High School in 1983. He worked 24 years at Riverbend Pizza in Port Byron and 22 years at Randy's Lawn Care. He also worked for 5 years for Fast Break making pizzas. His pizza was the best around.
Kurt is survived by his father, James (Mary) LeCleir of Edgington, IL; stepfather, Randy Swanson of Port Byron; stepbrothers, Ronnie, John Jr. and Jeff (Lori); aunt Marge; uncle Butch; special aunt Debbie; special friends, Mike, Angie, Charlotte, and Dominique; and many nieces and nephews.
Kurt was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Swanson; sister, Kim LeCleir; and brother, Kevin LeCleir.
