Laura A. Taylor, 57, of Geneseo, passed away July 10, 2015, with family by her side at Genesis East in Davenport.
Funeral services will be 10am Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Geneseo. Visitation will be 4-7pm Monday at Schroder Mortuary in Colona. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.
Laura was born July 15, 1957, in Moline, the daughter of Warren and Jeanne Fitzsimmons Werner. She married Terry Taylor May 15, 1987, in Moline.
Laura worked over 20 years at Oak Glen Nursing Home. She was very active at St. John's Lutheran Church and loved spending time with all of her family.
Survivors include her husband, Terry; children, Dan Garwood, Davenport, Brandy (Paul) Borg, Des Moines, Jami Garwood-Oneil, East Moline, and Katharin Taylor, Geneseo; nine grandchildren; brothers, Jim (Lisa) Werner, Florida, Dusty (Dina) Werner, Colona; and several nieces, nephews and cousins who loved her dearly.
